Dr. Yeo Chong Meng graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand, where he earned his medical degree in 1998. He completed his basic medical training at two renowned public hospitals, Auckland City Hospital and North Shore Hospital, before returning to Singapore. He subsequently attained membership with the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and began specialized training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Dr. Yeo is recognized as a Gastroenterology Specialist by the Singapore Medical Council and was later awarded a Fellowship by the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh.
Dr. Yeo is highly knowledgeable in digestive disorders and liver diseases. He has presented his work at numerous regional and international conferences and has authored many articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals and publications. He is also an invited reviewer for the Oman Medical Journal. Dr. Yeo actively participates in national campaigns to raise public awareness about digestive and liver diseases. In 2011, he served as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 23rd National Foundation of Digestive Diseases Public Forum.
