Dr Sebastian Chua is an Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care Specialist. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and obtained master’s degree in the field of Anaesthesiology from the National University National of Sing Singapore in 1996 and 2003 respectively. Dr Chua received training experience in Obstetric Anaesthesia in King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women in Perth and Perioperative in Gee in Geelong Hospital Australia in 2005. Medicine
Dr Chua currently practices anaesthesia and perioperative care at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Perioperative medicine involves pre-surgical optimisation of the patient, provision and management of post-surgical care of anaesthesia during surgery. well as patient, including pain management and intensive care.
Dr Chua possesses a wealth of experience in perioperative care of patients for surgery. Dr Chua was the director of the Perioperative Evaluation Clinic at Singapore General Hospital from 2007 to 2010, where for preoperative assessment and optimisation of he formulated guidelines patients
