Dr Tan Aik Hau is currently a consultant respiratory and intensive care physician at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Prior to this, he was a consultant at the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Singapore General Hospital.
Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004. He then obtained the Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) and Member of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2009. He went on to specialty training in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at the Singapore General Hospital.
In the field of respiratory medicine, Dr Tan has a special interest in advanced bronchoscopic techniques such as endobronchial ultrasound, pleural diseases and medical pleuroscopy.
In the field of intensive care medicine. Dr Tan has a special interest in extracorporeal life support (ECLS) and critical care ultrasound
